International Student Ambassador Program

The International Student Ambassador Program at San Francisco State University is designed to connect current international students with prospective and newly admitted students from around the world.  Ambassadors can help by sharing their experiences, offering guidance, and helping new students navigate campus life and adjust to life in San Francisco.

It is a student-to-student safe communication space for you to ask questions about, but not limited to:

  • Academic experience and support
  • Facilities
  • Campus life
  • Extra-curricular activities
  • City life and housing
  • And more!

What our International Student Ambassadors can't help you with are:

  • How to choose classes
  • Anything visa and immigration related

International Student Ambassador
Major in Business Administration (Finance concentration)

Hi everyone! My name is Himaank Dabra, and I’m from Bathinda, Punjab, India. I’m a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. Some of my favorite spots in San Francisco are Golden Gate Park, North Beach, and Valencia Street. Outside of school, I enjoy watching F1 and cricket, exploring new places to eat (even though I have a hard time deciding what to get!), and spending time outdoors. I’m excited to help future students learn more about SFSU and all it has to offer!
